Jardin des Tuileries

Grey, green and white - these are the colours that come to my mind when I think about Jardin des Tuileries. The cloudy Parisian sky, dense foliage of trees and shrubs, endless gravel paths of the park. Before I've seen Tuileries only on the photos from Paris Fashion Week - the ones that picture extravagantly dressed men and women posing in the garden alleys.

Tuileris is quite restrained when it comes to colour, it's neat and well-planned. It gives a rest to the perception that is tired of colours and shapes, hundreads of paintings and sculptures seen in Louvre. However, this pause doesn't last too long - only 'till the moment when the cabin of the observation wheel lifts you above the city to show you one of the most spectacular views.
